Prepares necessary adjusting entries for reimbursement variances, ensuring appropriate records are maintained for cost reporting.Prepares notice and request detail backup for any items that can’t be posted.Will be responsible for ensuring that lockbox is opened, sorted and uploaded to EMR in a timely manner.Will receive daily deposit of insurance checks, and forward to appropriate parties for information.

Ensures all cash is posted to the accounts receivable and balanced to cash received.The ASC Payment Poster is responsible for posting payments and reconciliation of payment posting to patient accounts and various general ledger accounts.
